In 2005, I was delighted to be invited to Clarence House for a meeting that ended with me securing the commission to make the wedding cake of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles, as well as 2,500 slices given to the guests inside commemorative tins marking this very special day in our history.
A full size replica is on show at Sophisticake.

Having made the wedding cake for the now King Charles III & the Queen Consort I was amazed to see that one of the commemorative tins with a piece of their wedding cake inside was up for auction.
Equally I’m delighted & thrilled that the story of the cake, and myself, have been featured in a large number of publications both on & offline...fabulous!!
Who'd have thought that 17 years after making that special wedding cake, people would still be interested in & still talking about it...amazing!! how lucky am I....x

In 2006 I felt honoured to be asked to make a spray of sugar flowers for Her Majesty the Queen on the occasion of her 80th birthday. The spray consisted of delicate ivory sugar roses, blossom and eucalyptus.
In 2007 I was proud to be asked to make HRH The Duchess of Cornwall's 60th birthday cake - vanilla sponge, chocolate and of course fruit cake made up of eleven 'presents' all wrapped up with beautiful sugar ribbons and finished with stunning handmade sugar Duchess of Cornwall Roses.

Another favourite commission was a stunning pure white cake for the christening of The Duchess of Cornwall's two granddaughters. The cake consisted of 4 different sized "Present boxes" wrapped up with beautiful pearlised sugar ribbons. A handmade sugar rag doll at the front with a teddy bear, a pair of shoes & a baby's rattle all of course handmade in sugar.
In November 2008, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales celebrated his 60th birthday and I had the honour of creating the official birthday cake. The rich fruit cake measured 20 inches square and was a replica of The Walled Garden at Highgrove. Over 2 kilos of modelling paste was used to recreate the trees, topiary, boxed hedging, tiny vegetables and the fountain in the centre.

I was also delighted to be commissioned by the Sun newspaper to make HRH the Prince of Wales 70th birthday cake. Spencer House in Westminster was hired for an afternoon tea & 70 inspirational people were invited & their partners, as well of course TRH Prince Charles & the Duchess of Cornwall
